Specialised Tours
– The Fall of Singapore
Bangkok, 'The Bridge on the River Kwai' and The Death Railway

This exciting tour takes us to Singapore where we spend the first
three nights. Here we will take in visits to Sentosa Island Fort and Museum,
Changi Museum and Jail, Kranji Cemetery, the 'Battle Box', the famous
'Raffles Hotel' and many other places of interest. There will also be
free time to explore the City.
Flying from Singapore we then go on to the vibrant
City of Bangkok, where we spend the next two nights. During our time here
we will visit the Royal Palace and soak up the atmosphere.
Departing for the village of Kanchanaburi on
day seven, we will stay beside the infamous bridge on the River Kwai for
the next three nights, taking in visits to the Donrak and Kanchanaburi
Cemeteries and the J.E.A.T.H. Museum. We will take a boat ride up the
river and travel on the Railway.
We return to Bangkok for last minute shopping,
before taking our flight back to the UK. The tour is fully escorted throughout, both by our own and local guides.
