Our Crimean Battlefield tour takes us back in time to the beautiful Crimean countryside, experiencing the sights of the famous battles of the 1850's. We will stand where the Thin Red Line stood and see where the 'Charge of the Light Brigade' took place. We will experience the peaceful Balaclava Valley and Harbour, and climb the Heights of Alma. Tour the Bastions of Sevastopol. Visit the incredible panorama of the seige and the Museum of the Black Sea Fleet. Visit the Heights of Inkerman and relax as you tour the Palaces of Yalta.

This nine day tour includes all the above and more. Based primarily in Sevastopol with its beautiful harbour we take a relaxed tour in what was the favourite holiday area for the rulers of the old regime in the USSR. The peaceful Black Sea forms the backdrop to many of the sites we will see.

We finish the tour with a visit to the Florence Nightingale Rooms in Istanbul.

Sampling the excellent local foods, on this fully inclusive package we will be provided with a hearty breakfast, packed or arranged lunches on each day and evening meal in the evenings.
